My Teenage Daughter has Sensitive Skin- Help!

Help for your teenage daughter’s sensitive skin.

“Mom, I love you. Can we take out BK for dinner? I’m dying for a burger and a ton of fries. The greasier the better!”

While having sensitive skin is definitely not a crime, certain consistently detrimental behaviors that teenage girls commit against their skin are simply…unfathomable.

Shall we begin by analyzing the symptoms of sensitive skin?

We often we tend to label “sensitive skin” as any type of skin that reddens after use of cosmetics, which are not exactly delicate. Unfortunately, sensitive skin is not so easily defined. It may be any type of skin which is intolerant to the vast majority of external agents with which it comes into contact, such as soaps, detergents, creams, makeup, but also fabric, UV rays, and climate change. The sensitive quality of the skin may manifest itself through redness, irritation, eczema, dryness, rashes, etc.
